Description of Company
CEGOC-TEA is the Portuguese branch of the Cegos international company
that has its head-office in Paris. The Cegos Group's main activities
are professional training, consultancy and the publishing of psychological
tests.
Together with professional training and human resources consultancy,
CEGOC recently began adapting and publishing psychological tests in
Portugal. The publishing side has been quite successful, as the market
is expanding with new professional and the creating of new services
on the part of both official and private entities.
Our major proposes is to develop and publish psychological test and
other related material in several domains of psychological assessment:
educational, clinical, health and business sectors. Our main concern
is to supply Portuguese Psychologists with new, up-to-date and quality
measures.
We enjoy a good reputation in our market and our clients are accredited
professionals in the field of psychology, education, health and consulting
firms.
As a member of European Test Publishers we follow closely the ethical
and professional issues an we try to sensitise our clients to their
rights and responsabilities as test users.
Main Areas of Business
The main activity of the Reseach and Edition of Psychological Tests
is:
- To divulgue psychological tests in their original languages. We
represent several European and American publishers.
- The translation, adaptation of psychological tests into Portuguese.
In this field we can count on with the collaboration of researchers
from several of ours Universities of Psychology.
- To bring-up-to date the existing psychological tests.
- To provide technical back up and consultancy for psychologists.
- To encourage Portuguese research related to the development of
new and qualified assessment and intervention measures.
We have available in Portuguese language measures like 16Pf-5; Neo-Pi-r;
CAQ; ABI; IPP; Bar-ilan tests for children. Now we are adapting to Portuguese
language two of the Wechler's scales, Wisc-III; WPPSI-R, and three of
the most important measures of Gordon, GPP, SIV and SPV.
